Modern technology and rapid urbanization have turned human society more materialistic. The gradual decline of social values, conventions, deeprooted social and religious activities have brought negative consequences in society. Nepalese society is becoming more self-centered and selfish. The collective unity of joint family is replaced by nuclear family. Family members are compelled to leave their home for foreign employment. Due to these reasons, elderly people are not able to receive appropriate services and support. Instead of keeping the elderly people desolate and dull life at home, appropriate services and conducive environment are available at Support Centers or Day Care Services contributing to hone their skills and encourage sharing among their age group friends. It would help them live happy life making their life easier. Female elderly people, orphans, homeless children and single women are at difficult situation.
Mudita Service Home is a Non-governmental, nonprofitable organization inspired by the value of service. The meaning of “Mudita” in Paali language (the language used by Gautam Buddha at his times) is to enjoy by serving joyfully without of any selfinterest. Mudita believes on service of quality over quantity. It has provided service uncompromisingly since 2009.

Provide quality life to elderly, single women and children under risk in a family environment.
1. Provide all the required residential service to elderly people;
2. Provide day care center to the needy elderly people to make their life healthy and easier;
3. Provide quality education and safe residence to the children who are at risk due to various reasons;
4. Provide skills and education to the single women to add dignity in their life;
5. Support local communities to receive required knowledge and skills related to health, education and skills.
